IMPORTANT: TEST FOR SENSITIVITY FIRST
As with any new product, we recommend conducting a sensitivity test before full application:
-
Mix the concentrate according to instructions
-
Apply a small amount of the diluted solution to a small area
-
Wait 1 hour to observe any sensitivity
-
If no signs of sensitivity occur, proceed with full application
Application Instructions
Important Note: Do not use on animals under 12 weeks old.
The BugMD Method:
-
Gently part the fur in the opposite direction of growth
-
Hold the diluted spray bottle 8–12 inches away
-
Start by spraying at the tail and work toward the torso
-
Treat the entire coat including legs, tail, and underbody, fluffing the hair backwards to help the spray penetrate to the skin
-
Do not oversaturate the coat; do not spray on open wounds, abrasions, genitalia, or face
-
Rinse with water after treatment
-
Apply 2–3 times per week, or as needed
Note: If fleas return after initial treatment, it's essential to treat the entire environment to break the flea life cycle. Pay special attention to:
-
Pet bedding
-
Furniture
-
Carpets
-
Favorite spots of your pets
